Madawaska River Flatwater day trip from Combermere, Ontario

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

This outing day flatwater paddling trip will begin at the public launching area in Combermere on Saturday, October 5th, 2013. We will decide which direction of the Madawaska River to paddle. If the winds are strong then we will paddle northwestward to the mouth of Lake Kamaniskeg Lake. If they are light then we will paddle eastward further to the York River area. Everyone should bring their own camera including a spare memory card or film because the spectacular autumn foliage will be at their peak time. All kinds of boats are welcome except for power boats (who needs them) . Spare paddles and life jackets are recommended.
