Itinerary
Itinerary description:

If you are looking for a exploration challenge then this outing is for you.

We will be paddling the Pickerel River as it travels west and south into Georgian Bay. For the south and north bound portion we will be bushwhacking and pond jumping to find our way to and from the Bay. The goal of the outing is to find secondary routes through this area.
We explored one of these channels last year and we now are interested in finding a few more.
Our plan is to paddle ~25 km/8hours a day. Participants should be prepared to perform one way portages across un-marked bushwhacking Canadian Shield terrain.

Required Items to Bring:

Light weight wilderness canoe camping gear.
Food
PFD
etc.
