Itinerary description: 

If you are looking for a exploration challenge then this outing is for you.

We will be exploring new and old canoe routes as we explore the Queen Elizabeth II Provincial Park.

We will be canoeing lakes, ponds, rivers and bush whacking hiking to find our way around the park. The goal of the outing is to find new routes through the park.
Our plan is to paddle ~15-20 km/8hours a day. Participants should be prepared to perform one way portages across un-marked bushwhacking Canadian Shield terrain.

Required Items to Bring: 

One light weight canoe pack and wilderness camping gear to allow one way portages.
Canoe and camping gear
Be prepared for wet and cold weather at this time of the year.
First Aid Kit
PFD, whistle, throw rope, bailer, etc.

Car clothes for drive home
