Where is Crooked Lake, Quebec?

I am researching for an article about the Linkanoe, which was built at Gananoque, ON, in 1945-47. Ed Link was the inventor of the first airplane flight trainer, and those trainers sold to Commonwealth nations during WW2 were built in Gananoque. At the wars end there was no longer a demand for flight trainers, so the factory at Gananoque was kept going by building several different models of canoes and boats. Ed Link was a pilot, owned an amphibious plane - a Grumman Widgeon and leased some land in Quebec for a 'wilderness retreat'. Thru my research I know he had a cabin at a place named Crooked Lake, Quebec, and I would like to find out where this is. I've searched on Canadian Place Names both in English and French, and have come up with nothing, though I would have guessed there are dozens of lakes in Canada named Crooked. To kind of limit things to an area, my guess would be that he would have taken off from Gananoque and headed north, NW/NE for an hour or so to get to his cabin. Has anyone been to a Crooked Lake, PQ, in this region? And if anyone has knowledge concerning the Linkanoe or other boats built in Gananoque 1945-7, I'm interested. Thanks for the help. Tom McCloud
