Massasauga Provincial Park

This is a combined leisurely and exploration three day trip in Massasauga Provincial Park when the peak visiting time in the park is gone with fewer people and other boats around when ideal weather still holds on during most pastime years. Itinerary
Itinerary description:

All participants will meet at the Oastler Lake Provincial Park permit office at 11:00 AM to register before departing to the access point. We will start by paddling out on Three Legged Lake for about 2 km to the first portage at 320m long. Then paddle for about 7 km on Spider Lake the next two short portages (30m and 270m) into Clear Lake to camp three nights on reserved campsite #30 on the north shore facing sunlight direction. One of two days will explore the islands of Georgian Bay by portaging nearby on one 320m long trail and the other at 475m long. One day will be a leisure time for relaxing or exploring the lake. Canoes will be preferable however a decent size kayak can handle these portage trails. On Friday we will return in the morning to the same access point. Each direction between campsite #30 and the access point could range from 4 to 6 hours.

Required Items to Bring:

own sleeping bag, portable stove, matches, estimated amount of food for three days by possibly swapping food with other campers, drinking bottle, warm and water proof clothes, paddles, lifejacket, throwrope, bailer, etc.
